# Report a Bug

> Tell the RotaPad team about a problem, with screenshots

If something isn't working the way it should, you can report it from inside RotaPad. Your report goes straight to the team.

## Report a bug

1. Select the bug icon in the top bar. Hover over it to see **Report a bug**.
2. Give the problem a short **Title**.
3. Choose a **Category**: UI problem, Data problem, Crash or freeze, or Other.
4. Describe what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
5. Check the **Screenshots**. RotaPad attaches a screenshot of the page automatically. You can remove it, add up to three images, or paste an image.
6. Select **Send report**.

You'll see a confirmation when the report has been sent.

<Note>
  Screenshots must be PNG, JPEG or WebP images, no larger than 5 MB each.
</Note>

## Track bug reports (support and admin)

Users with the **Support** or **Admin** role can review reports from **Bug Reports** in the sidebar, under **Support**.

* The list shows each report's title, category, status, reporter and date.
* Use the search box and the status and category filters to find reports.
* Select a report to see its description, the page it was made from, and its screenshots.
* To manage a report, change its **Status** to **Open**, **In progress** or **Resolved**, add a **Resolution note**, and select **Save changes**.
* Select **Delete** to remove a report from the list. Only Admin and Support users can delete reports.

<Warning>
  Screenshots can show customer or staff details. Only share them with people who need them to fix the problem.
