Managing SMS & Other Communication Platform Messages for Work Orders

RotaPad supports the following platforms and communication methods to receive client order inquiries from clients:

  • SMS Messages*
  • WhatsApp*
  • E-mail
  • Website Contact Form

*Must provide business mobile number.

Once your RotaPad solution is configured with any of the above, client order inquiries auto-generate into Work Orders seamlessly. These methods are listed in Org > Integrations.

To generate work orders from one of the supported options, simply have your clients contact follow the instructions below to submit their order inquiries.

Tip: For SMS and WhatsApp options, ensure your client saves your business mobile number as a new contact prior to using either methods to submit their order inquiries.

SMS Message

  1. Create and send an SMS to business mobile number.
    A work order is automatically created based on the SMS message received by client in Work Orders.

WhatsApp Message

  1. Tap New Chat icon and select the business mobile number.
  2. Enter and send message to business mobile number.
    A work order is automatically created based on the WhatsApp message received by client in Work Orders.

E-Mail

  1. Send inquiry to business e-mail.
    A work order is automatically created based on the e-mail received by client in Work Orders.

Website Contact Form

  1. Fill out online web form and submit inquiry.
    A work order is automatically created based on the web form details received by client in Work Orders.
